It's been just over a year since I started this blog. The original plan was to get to my 100th post by my one year mark, but life happened. I was fairly close, so whatever. One way or another I've made it this far.
This isn't a huge accomplishment in the whole scheme of things, but after a rocky start and wondering if anyone would ever want to read what I had to say, I'm pretty happy to be where I'm at. I want to thank everyone that reads this and that has been so supportive. I've made friends, found other equestrians that I can completely relate to, and immensely enjoyed reading about and learning from so many other riders out there. In all honesty, I don't have that many friends at the track that are too excited about me torturing them with my dressage stories. Having the equestrian blogger world to talk to and read about has been absolutely amazing! The blog has been good for me. Riding makes me want to write more and writing makes me want to ride more. Reading all of your posts has given me inspiration and ambition. So THANK YOU!
Okay. Now that I've made you suffer through all of the cheesy sentiment, it's about damn time I did a giveaway! I know there are a lot of equestrian belts out there right now, but a person can never have too many. Right?
So....
I'm giving away a C4 Belt!
If you haven't heard of or seen C4 belts, they are made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). TPE is both soft and tough, providing fit, comfort, and longevity. They are waterproof and won't stretch or tear like leather belts, along with being easy to clean. The belts and buckles (nickel-free btw) are interchangeable. With all of the different color combinations to choose from expressing your individual style is easy to do. C4 belts are also easy to clean. To top everything off, C4 donates 10% of the purchase price to one of four causes: The Boys and Girls Club of America, the Captain Planet Foundation, the Human Rights Campaign, or the Best Friends Animal Society. You get to choose. Did I mention that they offer a lifetime warranty? They are perfect for equestrians!
To enter, visit C4's website here and comment below on which buckle/belt combination you would order along with what cause you would want C4 to donate to and why. Don't worry, you are allowed to change your mind if you win. Commenting is the only required entry, but I put optional entries in if you want more chances. Please make sure to let Rafflecopter know if you comment on this post. The contest starts tonight and goes through midnight on Friday, the 19th.
They have something for everyone.
Wild:
Love your blog! Can I just say all the colors all the charities!? I'm leaning towards the honeycomb with a pink buckle (no surprise there) and the boys and girls club.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! And frickin' awesome belts. I think I would have to get a white belt with black buckle in the classical size. White itself gives a good bit of contrast and can go with a lot of different breech options. And I have always admired Best Friends Animal Society and what they do. My donation would certainly go to them.
ReplyDeleteFun! I really like the hot pink belt with black chrome buckle, and I'd want to donate to the Boys & Girls Club. I think they do a lot of awesome things for kids.
ReplyDeleteHoneycomb and Sky Blue and donation to Best Friends Animal Society. :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100! I love the lime green/black combination and of course Best Friends Animal Society as a charity :)
ReplyDeleteSilver chrome and turqoise! And best friends humane society

ReplyDeleteOops! Forgot to mention the belt I like haha. It's Monday after all :P
DeleteI LOVE the teal belt at the top, so classy looking! And I'm always a fan of animal charities, since we adopted my dog from the SPCA.
Love these. I'd do a wide Royal one with the Chrome buckle. And donate to the Animay Society! Congrats on 100 posts!!
ReplyDeleteI adore the Cool Grey with Black Chrome. It would match my Ogilvy :)
ReplyDeleteI would donate to HRC because everyone deserves equality, regardless of sex, gender or orientation.
Very cool. Thanks for introducing these! I think the honeycomb would be fun, with yellow buckle... I need more yellow. And animal causes... I'm a sucker for an animal cause.
ReplyDeleteBut most of all enjoy you and your blog!
I love the conservative cool grey/ black chrome combo. *drools* And I'd love to see a donation to the animals!

ReplyDeleteI love the look of these belts, several riders at my barn have them and I am always jealous of the colors!! I think I'd probably go with a lilac or lavender belt with turquoise buckle...maybe? So many options!!
Oh, and I'd want to donate to The Boy and Girls Club of America, the work they do in my area is unparalleled, plus I often volunteer with them.
DeleteAwesome giveaway, C4 is a great company. I have a belt and two buckles on their way to me right now to review, courtesy of LuxeEq. Been lusting over them forever so I can't wait to get it. So - I'l let everyone else enter the giveaway instead, but wanted to say congrats on 100!

ReplyDeletewooohoooo congrats! The first 100 is a big accomplishment! :) glad you continue to blog. ReplyDeleteI think I'd get baby blue with silver. :-) So many fun options!!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd make it too OR past the first 100 so it's definitely an accomplishment. Don't underestimate yourself! :) I would join everyone and say the Boys and Girls Club of America. :) OH! And the turquoise/teal color with a black buckle. Conservative I know, but have to stick with the Tear Drop Winken color scheme!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100! I'm a new-ish reader and I enjoy your blog very much so here's to 100 more! I like the gold chrome and leopard combo, and definitely the Best Friends Animal Society.
ReplyDeleteUm, what. These belts are amazing. I'd get a classic belt in plum with a white buckle because I really need some more purple in my cross country life. I'd have the donation go to the Best Friends Animal Society.
